Updates
I'm on the Roll!
A massive update underway! I only have a week left before I start working so I decided to create as many themes as I can. Perhaps it's also because I felt inspired and creative that why I can create a theme a day for the last 4 days. Note that I wrote "felt" since my creative juices just got drained. LOL. :P

I believe a brief write-up on each theme design is in order...

  • Morbid Reveries - The structure and the color scheme of this theme was adopted from Rasteroids.com, a professional design firm (and rightfully called so since my rendition just fails, orz). The title was based on one of Annika von Holdt's brushes. In fact, all the brushes I used to make the banner came from her brush site, The Fifth Muse.
  • Opera Populaire - My most favorite theme to date. XD I even thought of hoarding it to myself and just release it after 3 or so months. I'm not interested in theater nor do I have any drop of acting talent in me but I simply love how every aspect of the theme goes well together. And the floor panel background, FTW!
  • Romance be the Color Aqua - The illustration is everything in this theme and I owe it to Christian Asuh. The color palette just naturally follows the hues in the illustration. This theme is my dedication for Valentines Day and I'm glad it's nowhere pink, red or heartsy. The title was not thought of by me (since when can I think of a creative title like that anyway? O_o) but was lifted from Frank James Ryan, Jr.'s poem with the same title. And since I love how the poem fits the theme, allow me to post it here:

Somewhere between emerald 'n topaz is a world of aqua
Coral and rocks that glisten in shining water...like mirrors
Reflecting an aural seascape, that Romance, hasn't seen
Since the theories and legends..........that buried Atlantis

Bermuda makes promise of a fantasy Island.......for lovers
Romance in the shadows of late afternoon........silhouettes
And after the honey and fruits of the island...........be tasted
Lovers bathe in a pleasure of amorous capture......of aqua

Oceans be ever instilled..... with the treasures of Romance
One must feel the thrust of the tide as it surges, and peaks
A force that transforms passion... into soul-binding rapture
Somewhere 'tween here 'n there...the waters breathe magic

  • In Vogue - I'm actually at a lost as to whether to cast it as a fashion theme or a disco one since I think it would work either way anyway. But eventually, I decided to stick to fashion because I have an image for a potential future theme that's clearly for disco/dancing/nightlife. This theme features Yoon Eun Hye of Baby VOX, Goong and Coffee Prince fame. I didn't pick her because she's her, but more of how captivating the picture was. My labor of love for this theme is the navigation link strip which took me half an hour to make. >_>

Well that's it! Hope you enjoy these themes. And if you love them, it wouldn't hurt to link back to me right? XD And if you already linked to me, please update the address since I moved domains last month. Comments are also greatly appreciated. :P

Ad Concealment Problem
It has come to my attention that some of the themes I created were hiding the rail (right-side) ads. I sincerely apologize for my carelessness and fervently hope that none of my theme users were banned due to this oversight. I've cleaned the codes and reuploaded all zip files. I'll be making announcements in both customizedthemes.multiply.com and my Multiply site regarding this news in hope to inform everybody to update their codes.

If you do not wish to download the zip files again, simply delete the following cursed code from your css:

#rail iframe { display: none; }

On a brighter note, I've made a Counter-Strike theme which I entitled "The Assassin's Bullet". This is my another feeble attempt to make my themes more gender-diversed. :P

Shinsengumi
I'm back with an update! Yay! *cheers* I've added Venerated Presence to the downloads page. It was made for people who commented that they like simple themes and ones featuring nature.

Along with it is the Shinsengumi theme. It's my first anime multiply theme, though not exactly my first anime design. For some odd reason, I found it quite difficult to finish the theme even though I've been doing anime layouts for years. Perhaps it's because I'm wary of recycling concepts I've offered in the previous nine themes or maybe it's merely an artist block (if I can call myself an artist that is. LOL). The highlight in this one is the spiraling fractal which I owe to fractured-sanity.org.

Shinsengumi features Nanae Chrono's adaptation and interpretation of the historical figure Hijitaka Toshizo (Toshiro?). It was designed for the male crowd but I wouldn't be surprised if females also use it. :P Isn't he just sexy in that piccie? LOL.

Back to My Roots
Now I'm back to my roots, that of using textures and brushes. <3 This update features another red theme (Sorry, I just have the tendency to use red as it is easier for me to design using shades of it. XD). When I first saw the stock in sxc.hu, I knew I had to use it in one of my designs. The chandelier and the reflected Christmas lights in the original already created an enchanting effect. I simply decided to give more emphasis on it with my manipulations.

Anyway, I hope you enjoyed this creations. Comments are welcomed of course. <3

Browser Compatibility Problems
Urk.. how can I ever forget to check the themes on IE? I've "fixed" the coding for the 3 scrapbook themes as well as the Coffee Prince one. There are still some bugs left such as the unexplainable 30 pixel space on the right of the rail for IE and why in the world are my themes always off-center. :P LOL. I just hope I could address them all in the future. For the mean time, all themes are "workable" in both IE and Firefox. I still don't know how it looks on other browser programs though.

And on a different note, Happy Halloween everyone!

Scrapbook Series
This series should be released a lot earlier; but due to gastritis problems, it was delayed for a week. ;__; Anyway, this is my first time doing digital scrapbooking art (or even scrapbooking for that matter) so I'm not too sure if it turned out well. This series was inspired by the myriads of wonderful scrapbooking sites and communities in the web. Several of them offer freebies for download that you can use to make your own creations. Many of those scrapbook artists are already mothers and I truly admire them for being so creative and for having great time management skills that allows them to dish out kits every now and then. I mean, I still have yet to personally meet a mom who can cleanly extract images in photoshop. XD I just hope I did some justice to their freebie kits with these new themes.

The Scrapbook series are made of 3 new themes, Keepsake, Precious and Memento (I suck at giving titles, don't you think?). They're a little too girly for my taste but it's an entirely new art genre that I felt I should explore. If it makes the guys feel any better, I'm looking at car stock photos right now. LOL. I'm still fairly clueless on what kind of designs guys like; so if you can drop me a few hints, that would be great. ;P

Site Launch
Grand site opening! Whew! I didn't expect I'll have that much adrenaline to design a web layout and publish the contents all in one sitting. I just hope this work pays off. So far there are only 4 themes available for download, all of them designed within a week. Since I'm currently a professional bum, you can expect more themes coming your way in the next few days. If you like what you see, please drop a comment in the tagboard. Link back is also much appreciated.
